ECE 2025: A WHOLE YEAR FULL OF ACTIVITY

15/12/2025

193 pre-registrations, 7 courses taken, 21 volunteer ECE monitors, a training day for TIE with 77 participants... These are just some of the data that reflect a whole year of work carried out by the volunteer monitors of the Catalan School of Speleology.

During the year, the usual courses of installation and equipment in speleology (M3E), autosocorors in speleology (M2E), rope management and autosocorors in canyons (M23C), the course of Club Sports Technician (TIE) in the disciplines of speleology and descent of canyons and the Course of Technical Perfection in Canyons descent have been carried out: Vives and Grans Vertical Waters.

This year, the Technical Improvement Course in Speleology, Module A of Speleological Topography and the initial cycle of the Sports Technician with the Catalan School of Sport have also been organized.

In total, there have been 68 students and 14 new TIE degrees. To all this we must add the internal training and the 16 training days that the ECE monitors have invested to be able to give the best to the students and clubs of our federation.

This is more than 490 hours of volunteering for the Catalan speleological collective... Thank you very much, team!
