Competició 2025

In 2025, the FCE Competition Commission has carried out a series of actions achieving well-remarkable milestones.
On 28 and 29 June, in collaboration with the Sports Association Speleocorb Agrupació ProNatura, he organized the XIX Catalan POS Championship. It was attended by 35 athletes, 13 of them minors. The Catalan participants got a total of 13 podiums! It was attended by colleagues from Galicia, La Rioja, Valencia and Murcia.

In the spring, a course of POS judges was held and 3 new judges were appointed.

The commission also actively participated in the XVIII POS Campeonato held in Cártama (M'laga) on 18 and 19 October 2025. A total of 7 athletes, 4 of them minors, and 2 judges were displaced. Our teammates returned home with 3 podiums and one, more than meritorious, fourth position.

This year, once again, the commission has collaborated with the Escola Catalana d’Espeleologia carrying out, within the TIE course, a specific indoor speleology day in which both the students of the speleology modality and those of canyon descent participated. The practice took place at the siet’s speleodrome in Tarragona (speleodrome that was inaugurated at the end of 2024).

With the FCE Board and the GIEG of the Granollers Hiking Association, one of the great milestones achieved by the Competition Commission in 2025 has been to build a speleodrom that, once opened, will be open to all federates. This facility will allow the promotion of indoor speleology, as well as technicalization and the organization of competitions.
