The Associaç'o dos Canionistas dos Aparados da Serra Geral – ACASERG has just presented its new website. The creation of this group is an important step for the practice of canyon descent, exploration, scientific study and preservation of the Sierra Geral and Brazil. This mountain range is characterized by being a plateau crossed by different torrents that create vertical canyons and is located in the south of Brazil, between the etats of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.

The ACASERG works actively hand in hand with the Natural Parks with information about the canyons of the Sierra Geral : Parque Nacional dos Aparados da Serra do Parque Nacional da Serra Geral (informaç'es) and do Parque Nacional de S.o Joaquim.

The vast majority of ACASERG members are responsible for the RIC2022 meeting and have been working in that area for years. Do not hesitate to contact them if you want to visit or collaborate in that area.
