CEG Mountain Festival

The Mountain Festival of the Centre Excursionista de Gràcia (CEG) will take place from 18 to 23 November 2024.

Programming:

18 November (19:30 h): Maria Petit, runner, mountaineer and invident disseminator, will share her inspiring story of overcoming after losing sight.
19 November (19:30 h): Mònica Usart, a Catalan meteorologist, will talk to us about “Méteo i muntanya: the forecast of time as an ally”.
20 November (19:30 h): GOCTA Group - International exploration of ravines, Natxo Montserrat and Jesús Antoranz will explain two of the group's latest expeditions: Copal 2021, and the most recent, Chiguinda 2023.
21 November (19:30 h): “Històries de muntanya, la part invisible”, with Pep Cuberes, Biel Ràfols and Josep Serra, outdoor audiovisual professionals, will share their experience behind the cameras.
23 November (19:30 h): Catherine Destivelle, known as “Danseuse de roc” or “Rock Queen”, this mythical climber and Golden Piolet, will close the festival with a talk about her mountaineering career and her most spectacular achievements, such as her winter trilogy in the Alps.
